Phil was born in Tenterden, Kent. We were childhood sweethearts in Gillingham, Kent, even sharing the same birthday, but our lives went separate ways when his family moved to Southampton and mine moved to Norwich. We didn't have the internet in those days and we lost touch.
Fast forward to 2002 when Friends Reunited was on the scene and the old spark was reignited. Phil came to Norwich to be with me and we were married on our joint 50th birthday, 7th September 2003 at Cromer.
We had 14 happy, mad years together before he died suddenly on 9th May 2016, heartbroken at the loss of his precious son Craig.
